Today I had to respond to a letter from an insurance adjuster who was looking for confirmation of the price of my service for a client’s case. In her words, “The fees for the massage treatments seem rather high for a typical massage visit. Could you confirm if those visits were over one hour?”
Here is what I told her:
The visits are not a typical “massage” nor am I a typical massage therapist. I am an
Amazon bestselling author with a proprietary back pain therapy system.I have patients from all over North America. So far this year I have had patients fly here from Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Whitehorse, Kelowna, and Regina. I also have patients in Nashville, Salt Lake City, Washington DC, Winnipeg, Cabo San Lucas, and Merida (Mexico).
The typical fee here is $225. The sessions in question were actually slightly discounted because the patient bought four sessions in advance.
Here is a recent testimonial from a patient who has been driving to Calgary from Vernon (7 hours drive each way!)…
In 2015 I fell VERY hard on my right hip, TWICE.
Over the past few years, I’ve been to all kinds of healthcare practitioners and medical specialists but no treatments have brought about significant, lasting relief of my chronic hip pain.
After years of urging from my son, a former patient of Geoff Dakin’s, I made the seven-hour drive from Vernon BC to Calgary AB to see if Geoff could help me.
Although I have quite a few health challenges, I told Geoff that if he could improve my hip pain I would be happy.
We scheduled three sessions over three days to start, with plans to return in a couple of weeks for more sessions. The day after my first session I woke up in the hotel without hip pain for the first time in more than five years!
Every time I return for treatment I feel better than before. I move better too.
If you’re “on the fence” about whether to go see Geoff or not, my advice is to go TODAY!
Don’t wait five years as I did!

When people are driving many hours, or flying in for treatments, it becomes very clear that the treatment fee is virtually irrelevant.
People don’t fly here for treatment for “typical massage”, they don’t complain about having to do exercises, nor do they quibble about price. They are willing to move mountains to get world-class results. So am I.
Yours in health,
Geoff Dakin
